Meet the Founder

Meet Zach.

Powell Headz started with Zach's love for Lake Powell and an Instagram page. He grew up on the water — the red rock canyons, the crystal blue lake, the feeling of being out on the boat with friends and family. It wasn't just a place to visit. It was home.

Zach started the Powell Headz Instagram to share that love with others. Photos, videos, the lifestyle — everything that makes Lake Powell special. The page took off. What started as a passion project grew into a community of 190K+ people who share the same obsession with the lake.

But anyone who's spent time at Powell knows the water is brutal on wakeboats. The mineral-heavy lake leaves stubborn water spots. The desert sun bakes everything. And most cleaning products? They either don't work or smell like vinegar.

With a community of boaters behind him, Zach saw the opportunity to solve that problem. Powell Headz Marine Co. was born — boat care products made by a Powell boater, for Powell boaters. Tested on the lake, built for the community.
